Designing ambitious policy packages

Mitigation objectives require the support of a combination of regulatory and economic policies (that can include pricing). Ministries of Finance play a key role as they can design policy packages to reach their objectives or, through their competencies, support sector or national climate plans. This theme explores the analytical tools available to support this work and the challenges Ministries of Finance face when navigating a wide range of policy options.
